Paolo Sciancalepore, born in Molfetta (Bari) in 1955, after having achieved the artistic maturity, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari (scenography course).
After winning the Carlo Dalla Zorza Biennial Painting Prize in Milan in its second edition in 1997, promoted by the "Ponte Rosso" Gallery, in the same venue he presented his personal exhibition by invitation in October 1998, which was followed by an exhibition of his works at the Bocconi University in Milan. He has held personal exhibitions in galleries throughout the national territory, from Bari to Milan.
Since 1971 he has held several group and personal exhibitions, collecting prizes and awards.
He currently lives and works in Bisceglie where he teaches Art and Image in the “Riccardo Monterisi” 1st grade secondary school.
