Michele Livio Paloscia

Michele Livio Paloscia, born in Molfetta in 1949, painter and teacher of Design and History of Fashion in second grade institutes, has characterized his artistic career by elaborating above all the themes of landscape and portrait, in a lyrical and evocative vision.
His artistic education in the land of Bari, between the 60s and 70s, saw him pupil of the masters Nicola Lafortezza, Francesco Spizzico, Roberto de Robertis, Luigi Guerricchio and the young Ivo Scaringi.
Michele Paloscia's debut dates back to the 1970s with some solo shows on a series of “en plain air” studies inspired by the motifs of the sea and the countryside.
A frank interpreter of nature, he uses a harmonious blend of materials (papers and boards) and techniques (fusaggine, pastel, tempera, oil) with conscious mastery.
He currently lives and works in Molfetta.
