Jara Marzulli was born in 1977 in Bari. Since 1999 she has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad (Art Fair Taipei 2013, Taiwan, China; Akbank Sanat Gallery, Istanbul, Turkey; Maguncia Museum, Buenos Aires, Argentina) ; it has been selected and awarded in many competitions including "Morlotti Prize", XII Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, Castel Sant'Elmo (NA), "Combat prize", "ORA prize"; "Wannabee Prize International Art Contest 2011". His works are published in numerous catalogs. His art tells of a feeling that is both ecstatic and carnal at the same time, made even more incisive and touching by the technical perfection that distinguishes the artist. A liquid and indefinite dimension, in which children and women stand out against transparent and dripping backgrounds, a lucid and lacerating expressive quality, an indefinable purity that is dressed in painting, a constant game of displacements, of role exchanges between the artist he paints and the subject depicted.
