Lively brushstrokes depict the light that dances on things and the images avoid an investigation into the details. Palmieri is attentive to the lessons of impressionists and post-impressionists, of Italian painters such as Soffici, Casorati, Carena.
Everything in his works seems immediate and light but behind the apparent ease there is an art that falls in love, invents itself and continually questions itself. In his paintings the experience of reality and the suggestions of memory come together in a mixture of warm and cold tones, reality and emotions are reconciled with the few colors he loves and this fascinates him.
