Rabarama

Rabarama, born Paola Epifani, is an Italian sculptor whose works are of extraordinary beauty and harmony. His pieces are versatile and bewildering: he sculpts male, female and hybrid sculptures whose skin is richly decorated with a variety of markings and symbols.

Rabarama in fact creates sculptures and paintings depicting men, women or hybrid creatures, often also passing through the eccentric. The skin of the subjects created by the artist is always decorated with symbols, hieroglyphic letters and other figures in a variety of shapes.

Rabarama's work has a certain suggestion and emotion because it describes the pains and joys of human beings. The body postures of his pieces suggest many different conditions and emotions, from slavery to absolute and transcendent freedom, from sadness to joy.
