Giovanni Lorenzetti

Giovanni Lorenzetti was born in Lucca in 1952, where he lives and works.

His painting is linked to the tradition of the great figurative masters from the point of view of thematic choices and pictorial quality. His works are in galleries and public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
He has produced works for the Vatican Palaces (in particular the painting of Santa Bona, delivered in 2002 to John Paul II), a portrait of Senator Luciano Modica and a painting of S. Margherita di Antiochia, for the church of Alba Cuneo. One of his paintings is kept in the Vatican Museums near the greats of all time such as Michelangelo and Raphael.
