Henricus Hondius

Henricus Hondius, or Hendrik Hondius the Younger, was a Dutch engraver, cartographer and publisher.
Son of the famous cartographer Jodocus Hondt who had his own cartographic business in Amsterdam, he initially collaborated with the family business, but in 1621 he opened his own company in his hometown. In 1641 he published the Mercator - Hondius Atlas.
