Doriano Scazzosi was born in Busto Garolfo (Milan) on 2 August 1960. He attended the Art School of Busto Arsizio and obtained his artistic high school diploma in 1978.
In 1982 he graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, but before finishing his studies he won ex-aequo the 1981 Annunciata Prize, painting section, at the Annunciata Gallery in Milan, assigned by the jury composed of Guido Ballo, Andrea Cascella, Luciano Caramel , Sergio Grossetti, Flaminio Gualdoni, Giancarlo Marchese, Giorgio Mascherpa, Gottardo Ortelli, Mario Perazzi, Roberto Sanesi, Aligi Sassu, Emilio Tadini.
Lives and works in Arconate (Milan).
